Dedicated funding available for students and post-docs at ICVR 2013
The International Conference for Virtual Rehabilitation (ICVR 2013) with support from the NSF is putting special emphasis on encouraging students and post-doctoral fellows to participate.
Ample opportunity will be scheduled for students and young investigators to interact with keynote speakers and established scientists and clinicians during the meeting. Dedicated poster and podium sessions for student/post-docs
A student & post-doc will also be invited to participate in the concluding panel discussion aimed at generating ideas about future promotion of technology transfer in to the clinical environment (includes a free ticket to the banquet).
Other awards include:
- Reduced registration fee ($200).
- Student/post doc’ travel and accommodation stipends ($500).
- Best student paper award ($200 + $75 for awards banquet).
- Best student poster award ($100 + $75 for awards banquet).
- Best post doc paper ($300 + $75 for awards banquet).
- Best post doc poster ($100 + $75 for awards banquet).
- Prize for Most innovative research.
There will be an extended deadline for submitting student/post-doc papers Mar 3rd, 2013. For platform presentations, submit a 6-8 page paper first authored and conceptualized by the student/post-doc (e.g. dissertation/thesis or other original work). Top papers will be selected for a travel award and be in the running for best platform presentation award.
